    The Role

    Our privately owned Reggio Emilia inspired 46 place centre, is looking for a dedicated Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team. The applicant needs to be passionate about education in the early years including sustainability and equality.

    We have a supportive work environment, dedicated to delivering a high-quality service and upholding our Exceeding National Standards rating.

    The ideal candidate will be experienced, professional and highly motivated.

    You must be an experienced educator and have a clear understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Standards and the Reggio Emilia approach.

    You must be confident in programming, critically reflecting and the Quality improvement process.

    Duties

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;

    • Implement the program and assist in the documentation and evaluations of children’s experiences and learning
    • Regularly monitor the environment and actively maintain safe, clean and well-maintained premises
    • Engage in professional and respectful communications with families
    • Contribute to the philosophy and actively live the values of our service
    Qualifications and Experience
    • Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education)
    • Current Working with Children Check*
    • Current Child Protection course*
    • Current First Aid and CPR*
    • Current anaphylaxis and asthma management*
    • Thorough working knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
    • Thorough understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach
    • Experience leading a team and providing a high-quality program

    *Must currently hold or be willing to obtain (we can assist with completing the relevant courses)
