    The Role

    The ECT is a respected and highly valued member of our centre’s leadership team, you will deliver a quality kindy program inspired by the Reggio Emillia approach, implementing learning opportunities based on children’s interests. You will build quality relationships with families, collaborating with them to enhance their child’s learning journey via personal interactions and Story Park. You will be articulate in early childhood pedagogy and practice. You will be a leader who can motivate and inspire your team. You will be passionate, dedicated and invested in making a difference in the learning journey of children in their early years.

    Duties

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;

    •  Lead the program, complete documentation and evaluations of children’s experiences and learning
    •  Regularly monitor the environment and actively maintain safe, clean and well-maintained premises
    •  Engage in professional and respectful communications with families
    •  Contribute to the philosophy and actively live the values of our service
    •  Lead the team in the kindy room
    Qualifications and Experience
    • Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education)
    • Current Working with Children Check*
    • Current Child Protection course*
    • Current First Aid and CPR*
    • Current anaphylaxis and asthma management*
    • Thorough working knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
    • Thorough understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach
    • Experience leading a team and providing a high-quality program

    *Must currently hold or be willing to obtain (we can assist with completing the relevant courses)
